Karschb the Dark Apostle

This character represented by this fine figure from Artel W has proven to be a total boss in battle and I think I finally have some good photos of him to post up.

Some nice details on the back pack sculpt really help make this model work.

Very difficult to get the red eye lenses to show in the photos they’re very recessed in the helms skull eye sockets.

This is my traitor Chaplain, Karsch the Dark Apostle.

I’ve had this model since October 2019, it’s a sculpt from W-Artel and I think it’s great. There’s loads of spares/option parts in the box, so for example the parchment scroll one of the Dark Disciplines is carrying comes from that set too.

I originally based him on a resin 32mm base, then extended that to a 40mm base at some point later.

The Dark Disciplines are modified from the original chaos cultists set, I think that they work well – both visually and an all up unit on the table top.
